Brian brings diverse set of experiences as a business leader in Southern New England. After a career as an Army medic and registered nurse, he joined Paychex in 2002 and quickly became a top national sales producer. His insurance experience began in 2009 when he was tasked with launching the Paychex Insurance Agency in the RI marketplace where he set new client growth records locally and throughout New England as a district manager. He also brings an extensive knowledge base to HR departments as a result of his experience in the Human Capital Management software industry for midmarket-sized companies.

Most recently, Brian was a partner at HNI Insurance, a leading regional health insurance agency. During his tenure, Brian was responsible for all aspects of managing the agency and was part of rapid client growth for three consecutive years.

Brian grew up in the Edgewood neighborhood of Cranston, and currently resides in Scituate with his wife and three children. He is a member of the VFW and an active supporter of various Veteran causes. He is also an active real estate investor and property manager.

Megan is a service aficionado bringing in 10 years’ customer service and 5 years’ insurance experience to the agency. She uses methodical strategies to troubleshoot daily tasks and efficiently service our clients. She also uses core communication skills and creative thinking to assess clients’ needs. One of her biggest attributes is being able to properly understand our clients, which in turn has created some remarkable professional relationships along the way.

Megan began her career in insurance as a part-time administrative assistant at HNI Insurance directing phone calls and developing quotes. In no time, she was increasingly given more responsibility until she was then offered the Account Executive position for Smyth Business Solutions. She has been with us for just over 4 years and has added great value to our team.

Megan grew up locally in the town of Attleboro Massachusetts and since has lived back and forth between Florida and Rhode Island. Versatility has always been one of her strong suits. She is multifaceted and thrives off of being coined a jack-of-all-trades. She displays proficiency in vocals, acting, dancing, cooking, art, makeup artistry and modeling. Some of her other passions include traveling, animals, astrophysics and the exploration of exotic cuisines.

Madisyn has over ten years of experience in customer service across multiple industries. Her ability to communicate clearly and effectively has allowed her to form lasting professional relationships. She uses creative problem-solving techniques to ensure we can assist our clients in the best way possible. One of her greatest skills is that she takes initiative to assist our agency and the clients we serve in any way she can.

Madisyn began her career in insurance recently here at Smyth Business Solutions. She began by directing phone calls, developing quotes, and communicating with clients. Her ability to learn quickly and retain information has proven her to be a great asset in this environment.

Madisyn grew up locally in Attleboro, Massachusetts and now resides in Providence, RI. She originally showed her leadership skills in High School as cheer captain of the Attleboro Bombardiers. Her leadership skills continued to develop in college when she became captain of the cheerleading team her freshman year, and furthermore as she took on managerial positions. Madisyn’s favorite things include writing poems and short stories, dancing, roller skating, hiking, swimming, and anything else outdoorsy.
